T Fish
США
Добавлен 6 май 2009
I release a new full length fishing videos every week! Also, join the channel and support T Fish as I clean up the shoreline of areas I fish. I mainly fish from shore or in my kayak, and I always take any trash or recyclables with me on my way out. I love fishing for anything that will bite, including overlooked roughfish. Most of my fishing adventures are multi species trips with light tackle. I would love to travel all over the country to target every single fish species in United States, but for now I have a full time job, and most of my fishing adventures are centered in Wisconsin. I also keep track of the different fish species I've caught in my lifetime. My current number of fish (my lifelist) is 90 fish species caught. It'd be cool if you subscribe.

How many fish species can I catch from shore in one spot?
The fishing mission at the Wisconsin River started with a simple challenge. I wanted to catch 10 different fish species from the same location. It didn't work out for me. I decided instead to kayak down the backwaters of a small river channel in the Lower Wisconsin River. It was quite the adventure.

Grasshopper Fishing Lure INHALED BY MONSTER SMALLMOUTH
Просмотров 966День назад
Match the hatch is a popular phrase with fishermen. It means to use lures that match the different things that fish are eating. To be really specific, fly fishermen try to use flies that match the flies that are hatching and flying around the creeks. I was using a Rebel Crickhopper lure because during late summer in Wisconsin, the grasshoppers are out and about. I'm guessing the creek fish will...
Spillway Fishing for 5 Fish Species with a Bumble Bee Spinner & Lifer 92 - Blackstripe Topminnow

I was fishing at the spillway in Delafield, Wisconsin with an inline spinner by Panther Martin that looked like a bumble bee. The goal was to catch five different fish species with it, and also catch a new fish species to add to my lifelist. Some of the possible fish that are in the Bark River in Wisconsin include smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, common carp, rock bass, creek chubs, bluegill, ...

Kayak Fishing Adventure: Searching for a New Honey Hole
Great video, even though u didn't complete the challenge. U caught a great variety of fish!
That challenge seems freaking impossible 😮
Minnesota ah opening
1st view
🤣🤣🤣💀
I have been fishing that stretch of the river for 40 years. Great fishing at the old railroad and that channel ! We used to walk across the bridge when it was still up and fish that channel and wade across to the island below the main bridge and camp there.
That’d be so cool to camp there. I should try that!
Nice opening troll ;-)))
Nice video. Thanks for addressing a question I thought about regarding your wife, haha. But I'm sure you try to take care of all the things needed at home before going out fishing.
I usually only fish in the morning. This was an all day adventure
Great info
Youre in Wisconsin? With that attitude? You dont say
Bowfin galore in that backwater.
I wish! I didn’t see any that day 😭😭😭
MR. T!!!!! (This is your favorite student from last year in 5th and 6th hour)
I hope 8th grade is going well!
@tiefsa it's going great. I really miss you🙁 but I'm gonna be confirmed this year, but I'm scared of this big change tbh
Great recording of a beautiful catch!! Loved the release info. Seemed touch n go for a minute but ya got there!! 😁👊🎣
Mooneye are big softies
The channel was du du!
Indeed! 💩💩
All my spots have fish, I see them, mostly big smallies or carp, but all I get are bluegills or sunfish
Try throwing a worm on the bottom. That might help
@@tiefsa I have some spare worms, next time I’ll go I’ll try it, thanks!
Crazy that you haven't done that yet??? @@TylerHaus
@@GodGunsGills no I fly fish or use lures I don’t use bait often I only use it when I with my friends who don’t fish often
What’s your biggest moon eye
Probably the one in this video. If I would have measured it, it wouldn’t have made it. They are fragile!
How was the bottom of that channel in general? Hardpacked or just mushy? Did you scare up any big birds or general wildlife? I bet they don't see many people in that back area and might startle easily! Fun, but somewhat frustrating trip I'm sure!
Hard packed bottom. Rock or sand. I scared up one Great Blue Heron. I saw an eagle way overhead. Heard deer but didn’t see them. It was really cool back there, but not as fishing friendly as I thought it would be.
I fish the Wisconsin River at least once a week, mainly Castle Rock dam from the shore. Things seem pretty slow for us the past couple two tree weeks. Maybe I need to move spots or try something different? I almost always throw inline spinners
If you put out a setline with a worm on the bottom, there’s no telling what you might catch. You can still cast around with your spinner but have a bell on the other rod
Man you sure got your workout in, Mr. T!
I certainly did. I wish I had time to do these kind of fishing adventures more often, and I will in a few years, but that also makes me sad. My kids are getting much older. I lost one to college this year, another one leaves next year, and then my youngest only has three years left in college.
20 lb Lake trout
I wish!
@@tiefsa same here lol🎣🎣🎣🎣
Salmon season is starting soon! Can’t wait for the videos of that. I’ll be out on the river every day Friday-Sunday!
Good luck when you get out there! I don't think I can put that much time on the river as you, but I hope to get out there a few days.
your voice is awesome and addicting to listen to lol
I'm glad to hear that you like it. My only goal is to not be annoying!
Are there goldeye in the WI River? Have you caught one?
There are in the Wisconsin River, but they're really rare. I've never caught one.
Well that was an exciting adventure! I bet those backwater creeks are loaded with fish when the water is higher! Such a weird year this year with starting out with VERY low water this spring, then torrential rains in June and July, then almost no rain in August and into September! Don't give up on spots like that, just try them at different times of the year and higher water levels! Thanks for bringing us along. Again great shots of the Wisconsin River you must've taken from the boat launch when you got back.
Yeah. I got out the drone at the start and at the end. I’m not going to take it in the yak! Too risky!
As a relative beginner, I appreciate you making fishing the WI less intimidating! I’ve pondered that same channel on the map but never tried it
It stunk! Don’t go there unless we get a lot of rain!
Where'd you get the fancy graphics of the car/bike/canoe while showing the map? Pretty cool!
I download transparent pictures and then with my editing software I can move those pictures
Googan baits hires d-bags to promote em, then build baits that are about as weak as those guys egos. They fall apart before even getting a bite.
Hope the school year started up well for you!
So far so good!
Cheat unlocked
Another fun float/bike adventure! That's wild that there's that many species in just one section of river there, just shows the biodiversity of the area.
I was disappointed. I thought I could get 10. I’ve caught longnose gar, Shorthead Redhorse, common carp, bowfin, and sauger there before. 7 is good for one morning though.
Even though you didn't it is still impressive to have a body of water that is capable of that many species in it. Closest I'd be to a water body like that would be going on the mighty Mississippi down in the cities.
I think I found a hog sucker in the short I just now posted, but I don’t really know.
YESSIR. That's a hogsucker all right
@@tiefsa hell yeah thanks bro I’m just now getting into fishing stuff it’s pretty cool
You break everything 😂
I know 😭😭😭
Glad I’m not the only one who congratulates my lures 😂
Gotta let ‘em know when they did good 🤣
It's the personalities if they can be called that. The lures are just rebranded Catchco gear. I don't like Catchco either because of the way they treat customers but their gear works.
Is that neosho
Shhhhhh
The smallmouth jumped as high as a real grasshopper! Reminds me of the the saying "You are what you eat!"
It summoned the spirit of the Grasshopper
@@tiefsa😂
That’s at least a 3 lber
He was long but not heavy.
Why are you hsing 4 lb mono?
I was fishing for rock bass! I didn’t know this beast was in there
First
And I use most of them as bait
Bro, that’s your first I’ve caught hundreds
I’m not from Florida. I was there on vacation
Gotta be the orange…
I swear that's the best one because it also looks like a crawfish in the water when you reel it back.
mr t do a fishing rod showcase
That's a good idea. I might do that.
Been using the picifun torrent II baitcaster and it’s so good for the price
I’ve never used one of there baitcasters! I’ll have to get one.
Nice!!!
I'm still using that beast. It had definitely been worth the money.
Love those things. Use the a lot. Caught some big bass on 'em.
Awesome way to "match the hatch!" I've never used a Crickhopper. I think they are really popular in the southern U.S. Always amazing that the same SMB can probably go for a huge spinnerbait one day, jerk minnow the next, or a smallish crickhopper that morning.... I wonder if that SMB was a lake fish that was hunting shallow, or a river fish that checks out what's happening in the lake from time to time.
I’m thinking that was a lake fish. I’ve fished that river a lot and the closest thing I’ve caught to that was maybe 16 inches. I’m thinking it was hunting shallow early in the day.
I like that Quantum medium action spinning rod you’ve got, which is actually a medium light compared to most other rods. It’s really versatile and you can see I t’s well suited for panfishing, but still has the backbone to handle bigger fish. I’ve caught a couple 2 pound largemouth with my original one. I say original because I learned something about current dynamics when a kayak is swept against a log in a big river and I capsized. I lost a lot of my gear, including that Quantum rod and a St. Croix Premiere rod as well. The next week I went out and bought another Quantum rod for $30. I never replaced the St. Croix, which just wasn’t worth five times the cost of the Quantum. Well, truth be told, I did replace my 6 foot medium St. Croix Premier but it was with another Quantum, a 6 foot medium-heavy that was very similar in weight, diameter and action to my medium powered St. Croix. The biggest difference between the St. Croix and its much cheaper replacement is that I don’t have to constantly fiddle with tightening the real seat on the Quantum like I did with the St. Croix. When I called St. Croix customer service about it they denied ever hearing of such an issue before and weren’t helpful. Nice video - I just subscribed. Where in Wisconsin is this lake?
Tamarack Lake
I can't get over the fishy smell from touching fish
